Viva La Vida

One of the things I enjoy watching is James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke. I love how he invites famous people out for a drive and belt out song after song while having heartfelt conversations.

My favourite guest is Coldplay’s Chris Martin. There’s this moment where Corden got the lyrics of Viva La Vida wrong. Without missing a beat, Chris Martin turns down the volume of the song after Corden mis-sings the chorus and teases him about it. Their banter never fails to delight me.

I’ve recently set my morning alarm to the chorus of that song. It is such a brilliant way to wake up because right away it makes me think of that interaction and pulls a smile from my lips.

The rest of the day can only get better.
